RP with Aeryn Sun.

Atton staggered upstairs, singing something which sounded suspiciously like a drinking song, one arm around Aeryn's shoulders to keep himself standing, the other clutching a bottle of Tarisian Ale. He shouldered open the door to his room, kicking it closed and giggling, slightly insanely.
"This is my room. I apologise for the mess."

"Of course I remember, Genetic engineering is brilliant."

There was no sign of a hangover. She pulled him back from the wall and stood with her arms folded, an amused expression on her face.

"Please stop trying to get me arrested for murder."

Atton sits and sulks for a few moments.
"You remember? This is the point where you kill me, roast me and eat me."

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 03:47 pm (UTC)(link)
"Is that honestly how you see me?"

The expression is still vaguely amused.

"You were rather drunk."

She pointed out. Being the more sober one, she had naturally claimed responsibility.

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 03:49 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yes, I was, but still," He crossed his arms. "I wasn't that drunk."

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 03:51 pm (UTC)(link)
"You were so." She laughed. She hadn't forgotten the drinking song.

"Besides it was only a kiss. Or perhaps you're the one forgetting?"

She quirked an eyebrow.

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 03:53 pm (UTC)(link)
"Actually it was something like four kisses, or five," Atton said defensively. "And my memory is fine. It's just . . . I'm pretty sure it's the natural order of things for you to hit me over the head with a vibroblade if I try things like that." Atton had never been particularly fond of natural orders.

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 03:56 pm (UTC)(link)
"Well, it's not entirely your fault, you know."

She placed her hand on her hip.

"I recall me kissing you back."

Was he purposely trying to ruin her good mood?

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 03:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Atton smirked, that last sentence putting him practically on the verge of preening.
"Yes, I recall that as well, actually," He said, looking remarkably smug. "But you were drunk. Unless you're saying I really am that irresistable."

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 04:01 pm (UTC)(link)
She laughed loudly.

"Not quite. But I wasn't that drunk either."

What the frell was she doing? She was admitting to it when she had a perfectly good excuse. Had someone put feel good pills in her drink?

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 04:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Atton grinned.
"So, what exactly does that mean? Y'know, generally."

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 04:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Aeryn sighed.

"I'm not sure. Maybe I was tired of never doing anything? Perhaps I was insanely sick of feeling guilty.

She didn't grin this time, but it wasn't really a joke."

"Made a nice change from fighting with you though."

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 04:08 pm (UTC)(link)
"We should not fight more often if that's the results of it," Atton grinned. "Though I am secretly plotting to bury you up to your chin and leave you there for seven days and seven nights." All said in a perfectly casual tone. Don't worry, he isn't really. Yet.

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 04:10 pm (UTC)(link)
"I'd like to see you try." She would burn up if buried. Heat delirium was not good.

"Aren't you supposed to be regretting this and complaining about how you never meant it?"

She folded her arms again.

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 04:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Atton raised an eyebrow, cocking his head slightly.
"Should I? You tell me"

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 04:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Aeryn let out an exasperated breath.

"I don't know. After all if I had any inkling of your feelings I'd be an empath."

She flopped down on the bed unceremoniously and began to fasten her boots.

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 04:17 pm (UTC)(link)
"Alright. Let me put it this way; do you regret what happened? I'm not going to give you a straight answer, here." Atton grins, flopping down next to her.

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 04:20 pm (UTC)(link)
"Why not?"

She glared at him before getting up, slightly unbalanced and trying to find the other boot, which she had kicked out of frustration.

"Men the universe over are the same."

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 04:22 pm (UTC)(link)
"I thought you liked a change from fighting?" Atton said lightly, smirking broadly. "And let's not resort to slurs against one's gender now. We don't want to get into that sort of argument. I don't want to get into any sort of argument actually."

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 04:26 pm (UTC)(link)
"I did. But that didn't mean it was anything to do with you."

Her annoyance had been raised, and better men than Atton had failed to subdue her after such an event.

"Where the frell is my boot?" She yelled, balancing on one clad foot.

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 04:28 pm (UTC)(link)
"I don't know. I was never very good at locating boots, my superiors would always tell me to locate boots for them and you know what? Never once did I find one. Even the ones on my own feet eluded me," Atton smirked and stood up. "Come on, it can't have gone far - they only walk at midnight, after all."

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 04:32 pm (UTC)(link)
"What are you talking about?"

His fast way of speaking and changing the conversation mood was just a little annoying sometimes. It reminded her of Crichton, half the time she didn't have a clue what he was saying.

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 04:34 pm (UTC)(link)
"Boots and the military," Atton explained. "And boots that may or may not be militant footwear rights protestors."

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 04:36 pm (UTC)(link)
She bent over and started to rummage through the piles.

"Well are you just going to stand there, or actually help."

She had deflated a little.

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 05:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Atton shrugged and rummaged through the piles with her, tossing several things aside in an attempt to find her missing boot. He was, thus far, unsuccessful.

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 05:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Aeryn saw something black and lunged for it. She pulled out a shirt and sighed dramatically, tossing it at Atton.
