Atton staggered upstairs, singing something which sounded suspiciously like a drinking song, one arm around Aeryn's shoulders to keep himself standing, the other clutching a bottle of Tarisian Ale. He shouldered open the door to his room, kicking it closed and giggling, slightly insanely.
"This is my room. I apologise for the mess."

It did, though besides an involuntary twitch and his teeth being gritted momentarily, you'd never know. He kept smirking broadly.
"Well, yes, that's probably right."

She noticed the twitch, being a highly observant person.

"Still not ready to joke about it yet?" She grimaced wryly.

"Alright. I'm sorry." She looked sincere, but one could never tell.

"So, I guess I'd better actually leave this room for the outside world at some point." She grinned.

Considering all they'd been through, they'd managed to avoid kissing or attempting to kill each other again. Aeryn considered it to be a good morning.
