Atton staggered upstairs, singing something which sounded suspiciously like a drinking song, one arm around Aeryn's shoulders to keep himself standing, the other clutching a bottle of Tarisian Ale. He shouldered open the door to his room, kicking it closed and giggling, slightly insanely.
"This is my room. I apologise for the mess."

Aeryn grunted. Undoubtedly he was just too lazy to clean it.

She lay on her belly and squirmed under the bed, reaching for the boot she could now see. Her lower half wiggled determinedly, sticking out from the bed.

Atton crouched down beside her, peering under the bed.
"Y'know, my clothes ran away from me once."

Aeryn stopped reaching, bent at an awkward angle and stuck her head out from under the bed.

"Do I want to know?"

Her expression was one of confusion and doubt.

"It might be useful reference, after all, surely your boot couldn't have gotten there by itself?" Atton smirked. "It was not a pleasant experience. I think I lost my trousers. Or my shirt. Probably not both. I lost my shoes, socks and jacket though."

Aeryn looked even more doubtful. If he was lying she was seriously considering biting his leg.

"By any chance was this during a game of some kind?"

"No, I just sort of lost them while I was sleeping. Or looking the other way. They'd squeak as well," He paused and added. "I was here at Milliways at the time." As if this explained everything.

"Well in my first solar days here I fell from the ceiling while sleeping, so..."

She left the end open. She was still seriously considering biting his leg.

Atton was blissfully unaware of her cannibalistic urges.
"Yes, well. Found your boot yet? Or has it retreated further under my bed?"

Aeryn was thankfully distracted from the 'Bite annoying people' plan. She grabbed the boot and attempted to wiggle out.

"Frell."

Attempted was the right word.

Atton was in fits of laughter, clutching at his ribs, absolutely unable to contain himself. He would have commented, but he was unable to get out any words.

"When I get out of here, I am going to kill you."

She hissed, attempting to bash a lump out of him from her current position.

"I wonder how long that'll take!" Atton mused, going red in the face with laughter.

Aeryn pushed several blockages aside at surprising speed. Atton had better have stopped laughing by the time she got out.

Unlikely. Atton was still immobilised with one, long fit of laughter.

Aeryn pushed and heaved, and managed to get one arm out. She used it to combat chop his leg.

Atton didn't notice. The growing pain in his lungs was more than enough distraction.

Aeryn wondered if he'd notice when his leg went dead and whacked him again before freeing the rest of herself and standing over him with a highly disapproving expression.

Atton's laughter eventually dulled to a small chuckle, though he still lay there, looking up at her and looking uncharacteristically vulnerable. Go on, kick him, you know you want to.

She does, but perhaps rather more gently than she would have had she not beaten up his leg.

"You Drannit."

"Oomf!" Atton winced as she kicked him. "That's not fair!" Not that Atton's ever cared about this, and he proves this by grabbing Aeryn's legs and trying to drag her down.

Aeryn fell over gracefully. Being a soldier she did not squeal like a pig. However she did attempt to kick him again on the way down. She was in full kill mode now.

Atton laughed maniacally. Full kill mode didn't scare him, but then again he was a fool, so that really isn't say much.

Aeryn loomed over him, a scary look permeating her eyes.

"Kindly stop laughing."

Atton moved so that his face was level with hers and closer than one might expect, grinning crookedly.
"Or what?"

"Or I may," she said through gritted teeth. "have to find my pulse pistol and kill you."

She would not, she would not.
