[OOM] The Dragonfly, Taris System.

Atton's sleeping when the first missile hits Taris' moon.

It's far away, just off in the distance, but the force of it makes the ship shake anyway, waking Atton up.

"Took them long enough," he mumbles, getting out of bed. It's been another twelve hours, so he'd like to think the toxin is mostly gone by now.

Guppy makes tea, digging in his bag for his supply of tea bags.

His hand touches a box that he didn't remember packing, and he opens it. He takes out a piece of paper, which he looks at and then smirks at slightly. Then he reaches into the box and pulls out a packet of gummy bears.

"Frogspawn has packed us a surprise." he says, chucking the gummy bears over to Atton. "She must have slipped it in my bag before I left."

Atton makes a pleased noise, examining the packet.

Will just grins, "Guess she knows we need sugar."

"Yeah, good time to find it I think."

He looks back at the note, smiling, looks at the item in the bottom of the box with an extra smirk, and then closes the box quickly before the others can see.

"So, er, tea."

Atton considers the packet for a moment, before trying to bite down on it.

He could just open it, but just eating them all, including the packet, is much quicker.

"Ye're na goin' to share, Atton?"

"Woah, Atton, you have to take the plastic off." Guppy says, accidentally dropping the box. A pink thong falls out. Guppy goes scarlet and grabs it quickly, stuffing the box back into the kit bag.

"Don't wanna share," Atton protests, before smirking at Guppy.

"What else did she give ye, Guppy?"

"Just a note." Guppy says. "And instructions on how to return the underwear."

"Well, so long as you don't wear it on missions," Atton says, with a lopsided grin. "All that physical activity would make it very uncomfortable."

"Oh aye an we'll make sure ye're up to full strength so she's na disappointed."

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy goes even redder, if such things are possible.

"...eat your gummy bears." he says, looking flustered and making the tea.

"I suppose you'll have a lot of frustration to work off when you get back," sage. "After all, s'been weeks. Will's been doing alright, but that's because he's aroused by plantlife." Beat. "S'why he likes Sherwood so much."

Will leans over and lightly thwaps Atton fondly.

Guppy pauses, over the teabags.

"I'm deeply fond of both of you. But I do miss my wife and son very much."

"Not much longer now."

"Oh aye, 'opefully splittin' up will make this next bit go quicker."

"At least he won't grow while I'm away." Guppy says, with a weak smile at them both.

"Yeah. S'good."

"Aye, glad we could be o'some use 'ere, Atton."

Guppy nods.

"I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel guilty for getting into life threatening danger here." he says. "But at the same time, I'm glad I could help, and I know you two have my back, and I know Atton wouldn't have brought me here if he thought I was likely to die."

He passes the teacups around. "Besides which, if I've managed to get through all of this with only one panic attack, and that one being mostly under my control, maybe I'll come out of this trip more able to control them when I get home."

"Yeah. Don't worry, we'll keep you safe."

"Oh aye, an ye'll keep us in workin' order."

Guppy smiles slightly.

"Teamwork."

He assumes he can control the flashbacks and freezing up moments too, given a little time. They're not as disabling as full blown panic attacks at any rate; for a start, they're over much quicker.
