[OOM] The Dragonfly, Taris System.

Atton's sleeping when the first missile hits Taris' moon.

It's far away, just off in the distance, but the force of it makes the ship shake anyway, waking Atton up.

"Took them long enough," he mumbles, getting out of bed. It's been another twelve hours, so he'd like to think the toxin is mostly gone by now.

Will had been up and getting some food so he heads towards the bridge holding a roll,

"Guess its time to leave."

Guppy jerks awake as the ship shakes. He's covered with sweat and was just having a dream about exploding planets.

He's still fully dressed, so he sits up, arms himself, and steps into the main room.

"What's happening?"

"They're carpet bombing the moon," Atton replies, cheerfully, flicking a few switches to power up the ship.

"Aught I can do?"

Will ends up sitting in one of the chairs and watching it all.

Guppy stares out the window for a moment, then sits next to Will.

"At risk of asking a stupid question Atton, are you able to see clearly where we're flying?"

"Sure I can!" Atton says, as the ship lifts off and starts heading away from the moon. The ship shakes, slightly. "We're taking fire. Don't worry, we'll be able t'jump to hyperspace soon."

"Oh aye, good. Glad ye're doin' better."

"Do you need us to do anything?"

"Yeah. Check the radar, tell us if there are any fighters heading our way."

Will hands Atton a roll and sits down to look over what he can.

Guppy looks at the radar.

"There's a glowy blue dot at 5 o'clock?"

"You are the one who is a glowy blue dot!"

Beat.

"That's probably just a missile."

"Can we dodge it?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"Glowy dot is getting closer."

"Nah, it'll home in on us and blow us all up. Hyperspace jump in five seconds."

"Oh aye." Will just sits tight and prays.

[guppy_sandhu]

"Glowy dot two centimetres from the centre and closing in..." Guppy says.

"Hey, wouldn't it be cool if we came to a dead stop?" Beat. "Yeah, I guess not so much. Jumping now ..."

The stars stretch out to lines, before the ship jerks back abruptly and a blue tunnel appears.

Will just holds on, he's never going to get used to this.

Guppy realises that he's not strapped in one second before they go into hyperspace.

He goes flying backwards when the jump happens, thus demonstrating the value of seatbelts.

Atton holds up a hand, pushing the Force into an invisible, cushiony wall for Guppy.

Hyperspace is just odd so Will is going to just watch and hope its over soon.

"Thanks." Guppy says, flailing and trying to grip at something.

The ship evens out, moving more sedately through the tunnel, as Atton gets up.

"It'll be a few weeks before you reach Dantooine. I'll take a shuttle and head out for Korriban in about a week. I've laid in the coordinates of the planet after those, so we'll meet up there."

"Oh aye, sounds a good plan, 'opefully willna 'ave too many troubles."
