[OOM] Taris, the Labyrinth, the Undercity.

At first, it might seem like they're outside, on a very murky night. There's grass, after all, even if it is marred by patches of metal.

They're not, though. A longer look reveals that they're inside a vast, underground room, or a huge cavern, large enough to give the impression of being outside, but with the metal and stone ceiling just in view, distantly. There are flickering lights, here and there, but for the most part it's fairly dark.

There's what looks like a town nearby, but to get there requires traversing a rather difficult looking stretch of slopes, high rocks, half-built walls and rushing rivers.

"Nay, can find a way to contain it."

Will's found a stack of old reports that he's ripping up.

"S'not the fire we'll be using as a distraction. If they can't see us when we go out, they can't shoot us down. We light the fire, build up the smoke, and I'll direct it out through the entrance with the Force. May want to cover our mouths and noses, though."

"Yes." Guppy says. "Or we'll all die of smoke inhalation."

"If we douse some cloth in water, should 'elp us an also can go back near the river an all too."

"I'll keep the smoke away from us, for the most part. S'just when we go through it that we may have problems."

Guppy nods, trying to set the paper up for a proper fire.

"We're going to need something more substantial if we're going to get enough smoke to hide behind." he says. "Wood would be good, but we can use other stuff if you can direct the fumes away from us."

"Think some o'these drawers are wood."

Will empties a cabinet and hauls it out before hitting it with his sword, happily its not that well made and breaks.

Atton heads off down a corridor, returning a little later with a wooden desk, which he breaks up into pieces.

"More stuff." Guppy says, putting the paper underneath some of the smaller bits of wood and setting a match to the paper. "This'll not last long."

"Doesna need to last long as much as be 'nough to distract 'em."

"If we're quick and we get a big fire, we won't need too much time."

"Yes but we need to generate enough smoke." Guppy says.

"Just 'ave to manage as best we can."

"Keep searching for now."

Guppy blows at the fire, trying to get it going. It needs enough heat in the paper before the wood will catch, even when it's dry.

Will just keeps breaking down cabinets to provide more wood,

"Get more smoke if its wet."

"Can we spare any water?"

"Only if we have to; this is a lab, doesn't it have running water?"

"Could always scramble down to the river if we need more."

"... Will, the whole point of building this fire is to get out of here. How are we meant to go down to the river if we can't leave?"

"And we can't collect it to drink later, because we'll all die of disease. Keep looking, there's bound to be some liquid in here somewhere."

"Just mean, run to dunk the wood an come back, should be time 'nough an if will 'elp the fire get smokier, will be worth it."

"My hand got burned as soon as I stepped out. That would've been something a lot more vital if I hadn't jumped back. If you go, be prepared to be riddled with holes by the time you get back."

"Don't go." Guppy says, fighting back that new mental image. "I've got an idea."

He dives into the kit bag, brings out a tin of baked beans, pulls the ring pull and dumps them on the fire.

"There, those are sort of moist." he says, coughing on the smoke and stepping back a bit."
