[OOM] Taris, the Labyrinth, the Undercity.

At first, it might seem like they're outside, on a very murky night. There's grass, after all, even if it is marred by patches of metal.

They're not, though. A longer look reveals that they're inside a vast, underground room, or a huge cavern, large enough to give the impression of being outside, but with the metal and stone ceiling just in view, distantly. There are flickering lights, here and there, but for the most part it's fairly dark.

There's what looks like a town nearby, but to get there requires traversing a rather difficult looking stretch of slopes, high rocks, half-built walls and rushing rivers.

"Is it really possible to get out?" Guppy asks quietly.

"Sure it must be, Guppy, needs to be a way in an out."

"Well, for people t'bring us here, there must be a way in and out. That, and it spoils the game for Kenta if we can't win."

"So we're on some sort of reality tv show?"

"Nay, dinna think anyone other than 'e's watchin' us. 'e's just a bastard with power."

"Like most people with power, he likes finding new and delightful ways t'use it," Atton remarks.

Guppy mutters an extremely dirty word and continues to trudge up the hill.

Realising that nobody has tried to kill him for five minutes, he has another few nervous glances around.

"We 'ave any food left, Guppy?"

"Yeah. 'M kinda hungry."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Plenty." Guppy says. "Which is one of the many reasons why we must under no circumstances lose the kit bag."

He stops and undoes the bag, brings out three double sized mars bars and passes one to each of the others.

"I've been topping it up as we go along, we can have something more substantial when we get safe."

If all else fails, he has some nutition pills that will keep them alive, but aren't exactly tasty.

"Oh aye, good, glad we're na 'ere with just what we were wearin'."

Then Will's quiet as he just eats.

Atton is not a quiet eater.

There are a lot of nom-nom sounds.

Guppy doesn't feel much like eating, but he forces the chocolate down to try and keep his energy up.

Will reaches out and pats Guppy on the shoulder just as a reminder that he's not alone.

"We should move on. Best not t'stay in one place for too long."

Guppy smiles weakly but gratefully at Will, nods at Atton, and gets up quickly.

"Aye. We'll find a way out."

A loud, distant roar makes Atton arch an eyebrow, slightly, looking around.

"Yeah, let's move fast," he decides, heading through the maze of rocks again.

Guppy sticks close to Atton and Will, holding his weapons again.

"What was that?"

"Dinna worry 'bout it 'less we see it, just keep movin'."

"Yeah. Just keep an eye out."

"May be just a speaker with a roaring noise." Guppy says, more enthusiastically than he feels.

"Sounded far 'nough way that probably willna bother us for a bit."

"It won't be a speaker. It's never a speaker. How many things have you seen where the distant roaring is just a speaker?"
