OOM: Atton and Fett.

The ring on Atton's ship looks like it's undergone a renovation of sorts - though the faint smell of ozone in the air suggests this was probably not out of choice on Atton's part. Atton leads Fett in.

"So, what should we set the prize money at this time?" Atton asks, fiddling about with a console by the lockers. "My opening bid is twenty-five thousand credits."

Fett dodges the punch easily, but misjudges the angle, meaning that Atton still manages to clip the side of his face. Another punch is promptly incoming, this time generically at Atton's gut.

When you're as battered as Atton is, a punch to the gut, while expected, is still pretty devastating.

Atton doubles over as the wind is knocked out of him, crumpling to his knees.

Atton is neither unconscious (well, yet) nor crying uncle...so after about a second-long pause, Fett throws another punch at the other fighter's chin.

Atton blocks this with his hand, although the impact still pushes him back against the ropes, and throws a punch at Fett's side.

Fett winces as the shot hits him...bending a bit, but not stopping his onslaught as Atton runs out of room to back up. Another punch comes in.

Atton blocks it with his arm, wincing as the hit jars it. He aims a knee up at Fett's gut.

Fett winces and bends over a bit at the (very well-aimed) knee, which he misjudged. Glaring at Atton, he throws another punch aimed at forcing him into a painful dodge.

Atton dodges to the side, face screwing up into a very pronounced wince, stumbling slightly.

Fett takes a moment to force the pain from that kneeing aside, and then offers Atton a very irritated kick to his groin.

Atton, mid-stumble, can't dodge. He groans, crumpling to his hands and knees, eyes watering.

That's Fett's cue to throw a punch at Atton's chin to try and end this round.

The punch puts Atton flat on his back.

But it's Atton, and he's stubborn, so he still tries to get up.

Fett actually rolls his eyes at the attempt. He should've known it was coming, but...here it is. Atton's side gets a firm kick.

"C'mon, let it go so you can take a better shot next round."

"Fine," Atton grumbles weakly. "I yield."

He starts to heal himself.

Fett backs off as soon as Atton yields. "I'll even let you have the first shot. That was too easy."

Really, it was...but it was all that opening move that started things off badly for Atton.

"You got lucky," Atton said, getting to his feet. "But I understand you have to make yourself feel big and manly somehow."

Fett laughs at that. "Right. You slipped up, Jedi. Don't worry, it happens to the best of us."

Atton nods solemnly.

"That's probably how your parents justified you," he says gravely, "I mean, I'm just speculatin', man."

Fett growls just a bit at the insinuation. "Would've been pretty hard, seeing as I'm a clone of my father."

"Narcissism at its finest. Although I'm not sure what he had to be so vain about," Atton says.

He steps forward, throwing a feint.

Fett ignores the feint, quite simply irritated-to-angry. He doesn't even bother covering up the incoming left hook too much...he just swings. Unprofessional? Yes. Cathartic? You bet.

Atton dodges the punch, moving to grab his arm and, swinging to one side, pull it out behind his back to it's full length, settling one hand on the back of his neck and pushing down until Fett is bent over with his arm strained out behind him.

...ah, hell. He baited me...again.

Fett goes down forwards, getting locked into a painful position. However, he still has one hand free...and he attempts to put pressure on a pressure point or two on the hand holding his neck down. The twisting is awkward, and a successful placing of pressure on any point is probably avoidable...but he's at least hoping to force Atton to let off on his neck so he can get into a slightly less painful position.

Atton easily avoids it, chuckling. And with Fett bent over like that, he's an easy target for Atton to knee up into.

He aims a few at Fett's face, and a few at his gut.

Fett grunts as the knee comes in, more or less powerless to stop it. With that said, he is not powerless to make some attempts to either swat aside or, better yet, grab one of Atton's kneeing attempts to pull the latter off-balance with.
