After about half an hour in the bar, Jaq limps upstairs to continue tending to his wounds there.

He settles down in the armchair in the corner, cleaning up the gash on his side and vaguely preparing himself to go "I'm fine!" if Lucifer turns up.

Lucifer chuckles, nipping lightly at Jaq's bottom lip.

"Like tease."

"I would never tease you."

He nods vigorously. "Would too!"

Though he never said he didn't like it.

He dips his head to kiss Jaq's collarbone, tracing his lips over his muscles and bone structure.

"Definitely would."

"I think you're a tease," Jaq says, arching his back slightly.

Lucifer opens his eyes wide, looking up at Jaq with a becoming innocence.

"I? I could never be so cruel."

Despite where his fingers are right now.

"You would. You're a terrible person."

"I am a wonderful person," Lucifer says virtuously. "You've corrupted me, that's all."

"Pfft. I wish. You were corrupted long before we got together."

Darkly, "I wish."

"No, you do not wish."

"I do, and you are a horrible person for your lack of faith in me."

Earnestly: "I would have more faith in you if you were wearing less. It's inversely proportional."

"You're a filthy, corrupting liar and I hate you."

"But I hate you so much more!"

"No, no." Lucifer strokes his fingers upwards, over Jaq's stomach. "My hate for you is the greatest there has ever been."

"S'a lot of hate," Jaq says sagely, sliding a hand beneath Lucifer's shirt. "I still have more, but s'a lot. I can appreciate that much hate."

"Mhm." He laughs, pushing up a little into Jaq's touch. "It really is a lot."

"I'm flattered," Jaq says, kissing him lightly.

"So you should be," Lucifer smirks, kissing Jaq in return. "I've made a lot of effort with my hate."

"Mmhmm," Jaq says, moving to push off Lucifer's shirt. "It shows."

"I can only hope so," he laughs, shifting his arms to enable Jaq to push the shirt off. "I wouldn't want you to think I hadn't taken the trouble to hate you thoroughly."

"I'm lookin' forward to an especially thorough hating," Jaq grins, tossing Lucifer's shirt to one side.

Lucifer grins back, bright and wanting, and runs his fingers along Jaq's sides.

"I bet you are."
