[OOM] Lake.

It's the middle of the night, and Atton's in the lake.

He's not over-far from the shore, and the area where he is notably warm (he used the Force to warm it up). Curving up from the lake is a stream of water, which then turns down sharply to form a shower/waterfall type thing. He's got shampoo and bodywash in a kind of tiny rubber duck boat type thing.

It's not clear if this is how he washes all the time, or if it was just impulse.

On the shore, there are his various projects - a few swords, a few guns, a few cube shaped objects of indeterminate usage.

"Number of children fathered by me, two. Number of children fathered by you, nil." Guppy says, in answer to that, sticking his tongue out in return.

He sits down next to the lake.

"Shower broken?"

"Only 'cause I can use contraception," Atton replies brightly. "No, I just prefer this way. I spend most of my time on ships taking sonic showers, this is a luxury."

"Looks like you improved the experience anyway." Guppy says, dipping a finger in to see how warm it is.

"Doesn't your room here have an en suite?"

"Yeah. With a mechanical shower - it's not as interesting."

"Point." Guppy says. "How are you, anyway?"

"I'm fine. What about you?"

"I got promoted today." Guppy says, with a small grin. "Same department, more pay. And there were actual other candidates this time."

"Any new duties?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"Slightly more responsibility and I'm considered slightly more qualified." Guppy says. "There's not much difference between being an ST3 and an ST4 really. The next step up would be Consultant, which carries a lot more responsibility but has slightly more sociable hours."

"Well, good for you."

"Thanks." Grin.

He picks up a stick and pokes at the rubber duck.

"Wanna put some clothes on and spar?"

"Sure. I have a new version of the knowledge-y-thing if you want to try it. Increases your reflexes and strength a bit more, and there's modifications to the ritual program so that you don't attack me before the fight starts, and the dominance program, because it always helps to have a feverish desire to prove that you're the alpha."

"Sure." Guppy says. "It's been interesting to test."

"Okay. You go and change into some shorts, I'll be ready by the time you return."

Guppy does so, grabbing some at the bar and changing in the men's toilets to save time.

He comes out back, not too fast, in case Atton is still naked.

He's pulled on a pair of black boxer shorts by the time Guppy's out, which he feels is enough if they're going to be sparring.

He holds up the cube cheerfully.

"Ready." Guppy says, standing next to the cube.

Atton closes his eyes and clicks the button. There's a flash of light, a brief flow of information and behavioural changes, and then it flicks off and he sets it down.

"Less dizzying." Guppy comments, not feeling unbalanced this time.

"Yeah, I worked on that too."

Guppy flexes his relatively small muscles. They just feel bigger...

Atton smirks and gives his own somewhat more substantial ones a small flex.

"Ha, puny!" Guppy says, in total contradiction to the facts there.

"Of course, Fluffy," Atton says, taking a few steps back and raising his fists.

Guppy moves forward with some fast punches to the head and upper body.
