"Okay," Atton says, holding the door open for Kale. "We're going to have to stay with my brother until I find us a place of our own. Shouldn't be more than a few days."

The door leads out onto a rectangular white room with a dozen tiers, and large windows looking out on a dark green landscape with a glowing purple sky.

There aren't any people around, currently. It's practically a ghost outpost.

Atton takes the opportunity to lean down and press a string of kisses to Kale's neck.

Kale's universe is currently highly distracted by Atton's kisses. He puts a hand on the other man's hip and holds.

"You know, it's not fair for you t'not take your shirt off too," Atton says. "I might get self-conscious."

"The day you get self-conscious is the day my hair turns black," Kale replies, but he does take off his shirt.

"I could be a sensitive, self-conscious soul, you know."

"Is my hair black? I don't think so." He tugs a long strand down in front of his eyes and tickles Atton's nose with it. "Nope, still red."

"Would too," Atton says, returning to kissing Kale's neck.

"Nu-uh." His fingers ghost over Atton's skin.
