"Okay," Atton says, holding the door open for Kale. "We're going to have to stay with my brother until I find us a place of our own. Shouldn't be more than a few days."

The door leads out onto a rectangular white room with a dozen tiers, and large windows looking out on a dark green landscape with a glowing purple sky.

There aren't any people around, currently. It's practically a ghost outpost.

He takes a step forward and drapes his arms around Atton's neck before kissing the underside of his jaw.

Atton tilts his head back to let him.

"So, is this part of your teaching? Am just checkin'."

"Do you want it to be?" There is more kissing and for an added bonus nibbling at the jaw.

"Well, I could live with it, I'm sure."

"I think you could live with your shirt off too."

"I probably could."

"Well, if it's for the universe," Atton says, shucking off his shirt. "I can take off my trousers, too, if you think it'll help."

Kale puts his hands on his hips pretending to think about this, long and hard.

Atton takes the opportunity to lean down and press a string of kisses to Kale's neck.

Kale's universe is currently highly distracted by Atton's kisses. He puts a hand on the other man's hip and holds.

"You know, it's not fair for you t'not take your shirt off too," Atton says. "I might get self-conscious."

"The day you get self-conscious is the day my hair turns black," Kale replies, but he does take off his shirt.

"I could be a sensitive, self-conscious soul, you know."

"Is my hair black? I don't think so." He tugs a long strand down in front of his eyes and tickles Atton's nose with it. "Nope, still red."

"Would too," Atton says, returning to kissing Kale's neck.
