As soon as Will let him into Nottingham, Atton gave him a quick thanks, told him he'd be back by the next morning (morning after that at the very latest) and Force-sped off to London.

Once there, he sought out Much. Not exactly a difficult task - he'd been there often enough to know where and when the group of fighters Much was a part of met to fight.

(It crossed his mind that he might be a bit madder than usual: Much had beaten him three times, and while his pragmatic mind said it might be time to stop trying, his competitive mind said to keep going.)

So, he headed to where Much and the other fighters usually were, keeping an eye out for them.

As the weather has been getting nicer, fewer men have been fighting. A long day of working in the fields can be tiring after all.

Much is still there though, drinking an ale and watching two boys fight.

Atton heads over to him, nodding at the two boys.

"They any good?"

"Good 'nough, aye. Oh ye're back 'gain."

Much smiles, Atton is becoming rather regular in when he shows up and he's a challenge, which few enough men are.

Atton gives Much a wolfish grin.

"Sure am. How many men've you fought today?"

"Naught, been watchin' the boys try to prove that they can fight me. Yerself?"

"Nobody. Anybody come close to proving themselves yet?"

"Nay, that lad will 'rhaps be good once 'e learns to fall down properly. 'arold, lad, ye'll 'urt yerself 'fore 'e'll get ye."

The boy who just took a nasty fall looks up and nods, rubbing at his sore elbow.

Atton chuckles a little.

"Has anyone actually beaten you? You seem pretty confident."

"Course na."

Solemnly: "Me neither."

This is, of course, a lie, and obvious to nobody more than Much.

"I'll finish me drink an see 'bout given ye a good beatin' then."

Much grins, Atton is a strange man but a good fighter.

"Look forward to it."

"Ye want a drink while ye're waitin'?"

"Nah, I'm good."

Much finishes his ale and then hands it to one of the boys,

"Get out o'the way, lads an we'll show ye 'ow its done."

Atton gives the boys a bright, cheery grin.

The boys give him a look as they move to the side, they haven't seen Much fight a lot.

Atton shucks off his jerkin and top, giving them to one of the boys as he passes, then heads out and waits for Much.

Much pulls off his shirt and nods to Atton, he'll let him have the first hit.

Atton watches Much carefully, shifting from foot to foot, before punching hard around at Much's jaw.

Much blocks the punch with his arm and moves under Atton's arm to punch him in the gut.

Which Atton takes directly without any chance to brace himself. The air rushes out of him with a gasp, and he doubles over wincing.

So Much follows up with a series of quick hits to his torso as the crowd cheers.

They all hit, sending Atton stumbling backwards.

"Was 'xpectin' better o'ye."

Much says as he comes forward to stand close to Atton.
