Mixed Muses continuity: Kale and Atton.

Atton doesn't celebrate Earth holidays, but he does have that particular eagerness to please that means he revels in the chance to give stuff to people.

This is why, when he saw Kale in the bar, he - without any kind of preceding explanation save 'I've got something for you! - grabbed his hand and started pulling him, with all the fervor of a very excitable puppy, up the stairs.

Low, amused: "Hey, most of this is natural for me. I mean, being messed up didn't help, but still." Pause. "This'll only take a moment."

It does, indeed, only take a moment. It's remarkably quick and easy to form a bond.

He blinks. It's the first time he's felt a bond in over a year. For him it's always been a natural state of mind to be bonded to someone else, Trever mostly. A bit of the ache and emptiness has gone because of it, Atton's not Trever, but he's close enough for now.

Kale lets out a gusty sigh of relief that he didn't even knew he needed to let out.
