[OOM] Above Onderon - The Wyrm.

The trip to the Wyrm is fairly uneventful. They slide into its vast, almost empty landing bay and land silently, lights flicking off one by one.

Atton peers out of the cockpit speculatively, adjusting his gauntlet. The walls are metal, that much is clear, but wound through with something dark, organic and porous, that pulsates with the heartbeat coming from deeper within the ship.

"Nice."

"I don't suppose there's any point asking him to surrender?" Guppy whispers.
Raise up your hand to the level of your eyes.
He's not trembling.
This is the choice. This is the point of no return
Considering he's seen this guy in action, seen him destroy planets to get to them... his expression is more the one he wears when performing emergency surgery than when hiding in a quivering heap.

"Nah, probably not," Atton murmurs to Guppy.

Koren gets a bright, chirpy smile.

A little wearily, from Koren: "I was wondering when you'd show up."

"We're 'ere now an means yer time is o'er."

Guppy is about to tell him to surrender anyway...
You've passed the point of no return
...but realises that actually he has no idea what they'd do with him when he does, so keeps his mouth shut.

"Yeah. Will has lots of dramatic things to say. Me and Guppy aren't good at them," Atton says, sadly.

With the expressionless armour, it's difficult to see if Koren's rolling his eyes, but Atton thinks he is.

"You number only three, and you're on my ship. I'm not feeling especially threatened," Koren remarks.

Will looks over to Atton, apparently he's the one who gets to talk,

"Dinna underestimate us."

"Yeah, we got in."

Dryly; "Yes, and you really had to run through a gauntlet of security to do that, didn't you?"

"Ye just 'opin' to die then?"

Guppy, unable to understand why the Koren is just standing there, tries just shooting him.

If it doesn't work, it's not like they haven't already pissed him off.

The blaster bolt bounces off fairly easily.

"I've already adjusted my armour to be adapted for energy weapons," Koren says.

"Oh aye, but probably na steel."

"Eh, can't blame me for trying."

"I'm sure I can." Koren shrugs, turning away. "Kill them. Kill them lots."

The droids start forward towards them.

Will draws his blaster and fires at what looks like a power coupling on one of the droids.

Guppy shoots at the droids' heads with his blaster, then as an afterthought, puts his sword back in its sheath, gets his stun gun out and starts combining the two beams to see if this will come up with something new they haven't started to evolve against.

Atton, for his part, ignores the droids completely. He speeds past them, drawing his sword to slash down at Koren. It's promptly blocked, as Koren draws his own sword from his chest. Atton will never stop being bewildered and a little disgusted by that.

The droids go down fairly quickly, sparking and collapsing before they have a chance to draw weapons.

As the droids go down, Will moves towards the fight, not wanting to interfere but also wanting to help Atton.

Guppy is surprised that the droids go down so easily, so gets his sword out and gives them another few hacks.

He hovers near Will and Atton, not wanting to get in the way.

"Please, dudes, join in any time you like," Atton says, mildly, blocking a slash from Koren. "Your input is appreciated."

Once Will hears that he moves to slash at Koren's side.

Guppy moves around the other side and, protects his face with one arm and tries slashing at Koren's feet with his sword.

Atton swings at Koren's neck.

The three slashes could work better. Koren drops down, unnaturally fast, beneath both Atton and Will's swords, and spins, batting away Guppy's sword with his own, spurs sliding out of his feet to slash at the three's ankles as he turns.

Will doesn't get out of the way in time and takes a nasty slash across his ankles and almost loses his balance as he strikes out at Koren again.

Guppy, who had been expecting to have an attack to the face, is also caught out by the ankle slash, taking a bad cut to the left leg but getting his right one out of the way in time.

Adrenaline overrides pain, and pivoting on his remaining good leg, he uses the momentum to spin and thrust his right elbow at Koren's head, and bringing his sword down from head height.
