[OOM] Onderon.
Koren stares out at the distant sea of rubble around Onderon, and amongst it the swarms of tiny lights moving towards his fleet.
“My lord,” a voice drifts over from one side, “our weapons are ready. We can destroy the rubble and move through towards Onderon.”
“No.” Koren flicks one hand up, drawing up a closer display of the objects moving through the rubble. The red and whites of Republic fighters are mixed in with the blues and golds of the Onderon guard and the silvers of the Basilisk war droids. “To do so might push the rubble towards the planet and the moon. I want the palace and the tomb to be structurally unharmed.”
Out of the corner of his eye, he sees his advisor bow low.
“This is only a minor inconvenience,” he continues. “The remains of a shattered fleet are not going to stop us. Dispatch fighters and dropships.”
-----
There are thousands of fighters, flooding out of the Wyrm. We’re outnumbered ten to one. We’re making a dent in their numbers, but there are too many for us to keep them all out. The dropships are - ...”
-----
A dropship crashes down into the city square, hatches opening to admit a stream of armoured soldiers, guns raised and firing as the nearby turrets swung towards them. With a shriek, one soldier falls, armour falling apart around him.
Behind them, the dropship clanks, casting off its outer shell to reveal a crab-like war machine beneath. It growls mechanically, legs sliding out as it lifts itself up and started walking, guns sliding out. With a hum and a crash, the main gun fires, lighting up the city as it blows through a building, sending turrets flying and crackling.
The march continues on towards the Sky Ramp, blocked by a row of shiny, silver droids. As they turn and started firing, the soldiers hurry away, ducking behind buildings as the war machine points its main gun at them with a long hum.
As the droids go flying and clattering, another dropship hist the city, and a third.
-----
Atton taps his earpiece again.
“They’ve breached the Sky Ramp,” to Will and Guppy. “Be ready.”

His mouth is dry, and there are no words coming.

"Courtesy of the Queen," he says briefly, thrusting it into Atton's hands, before dashing off again.
Atton opens the package, holding the object within aloft.
"A lightsaber! Neat. My last one broke when that escape pod crashed into Transimir. Also, there are giant mechanical crab monsters coming up the Sky Ramp. You should be able to see them soon. Lightsaber!"

Atton ducks behind cover.
"Focus your fire on the crabthing's legs!" To Will and Guppy: "You two, deal with the soldiers."
With that, he flicks on his lightsaber and jumps, arcing through the air to land on top of the crab.

The crab still has plenty of smaller guns, though, which it turns on the nearby soldiers, even as one leg gives way.

He's disappointed that he's not as fast as he was last time he fought anything, but he perseveres, trying to remember the techniques he knew the other day.
He spins quickly, using the effect of normality to make the tip of his sword move faster, and succeeds in decapitating his target.

"Blow it up," Atton says dismissively, as a soldier runs over to it with explosives.
Atton jumps again, landing near Will and Guppy.

Guppy shoots at the crustaceanthings, then charges a remaining one with his sword.
"Suuu-SHI!" he yells, lopping one of its limbs off.

As they start slicing through the further-off soldiers, Atton turns his attention to soldiers that get too close, lightsaber flashing as he cuts them down.

One of them manages to get behind him and claws him from behind. His armour vest takes the majority of the damage easily, and he turns around and stabs the creature through the middle with his sword.

He then drops down beside Guppy to use the cover of the rock as he fires again.

"Keep an eye out for any more war crabs!"

He takes the moment to get his breath back.

Will shoots a few approaching soldiers as he tries to look at Guppy's wound.

"You okay, Guppers?"

He starts shooting the blaster at any soldiers in his line of fire.

He spots a conveniently placed lamp post near the crab and charges at it, twisting to catch it with his hands and swing around it.
On one hand he succeeds, hitting the crab at speed. On the other hand, he lands very clumsily on his bottom. The crab looks at him as though trying to analyse this highly peculiar attack, and he uses this moment of confusion to start hacking its legs off with his sword.
