They found a nice tavern, with a tavernkeeper (strangely overly chirpy and always smiling, with just the barest hints of murderous insanity in her eyes) who agreed to let them pay later.

Paying is still a problem, though, which is why Atton's found a wide grassy area - some sort of park that also acts as a market.

From the crowd, a very deep, loud voice, like a particularly menacing announcer, booms:

"Finish hi - Oh, you, you already did that." Sheepish pause. Then, enthusiastically: "KO! Fishelf wins. Round two ..." Pause. Hopefully: "Round two?" Then, seeing that Bloodeater isn't getting up. "Aww. Kriff this, I'm going to play Dead or Unreal Street Doom Kombat."

Atton collects in the money, before wandering over to Guppy as the crowds disperse.
"Got a good haul."

"Oh aye, we did. Ye 'urt at all?"

Atton pats Guppy's shoulder.

"Good. We may as well go and pay for our room, then."

"Aye an can get ye somethin' to eat too now we can pay for it."

Guppy nods.

"I think I understand why you two like fighting now." he says, heading inside. "It's more fun when you win."

Chirpily: "Fighting is great. It'd be better in my own body, but here is good too."

"Oh aye, next time we do this, I want to fight."

"Let's rest for now." Guppy says. "But it'll be easy enough if one of you fights, because I can heal you if it gets out of hand."

"If we don't get another chance here, I'll see about taking you t'my world sometime after we're done with all this stuff, and finding you a fight, Will."

"Oh aye, would be fair after all the times I've taken ye to London."

Guppy walks on quietly, thinking. Having this much power is really weird, makes him wonder how different he'd be if he were always like this.

"'rhaps could try down near the docks or could always try Lincoln."
