They've been walking through the forest for a couple of hours now, and it's almost dark.

"We might want t'stop and rest for the night, soon," Atton remarks, adjusting his hat.

Patiently: "Put them to good use as in use them when there's actually a cause to use them, Guppy, not 'go and beat something up right now'."

"They're distracting."

"Oh aye but just 'ave to learn to pick out which ones are large 'nough to do true damage."

"Like that thing over there," Atton says, pointing to a distant tree-man thing.

Guppy looks over, then edges closer to Atton and Will.

"What is it?"

"Na sure but its big."

"Tree-person thing. You should go and hit it Guppy. Hit it lots."

Guppy steps forward.

"Excuse me, Mr Tree, are you friend or foe?"

Will waits to see what the tree thing does.

The tree peers at Guppy for a moment.

"Gnarghsmash," it eventually decides, raising one limb to bring down towards Guppy.

Guppy casts a force field between the tree and Will, then jumps out of the way of the branch. He moves around it looking for weak spots, then ninja kicks it in the knots.

Will swings his torch towards the tree thing, it backs up slightly and now tries to hit him along with Guppy.

The knots clearly isn't a weak part, so Guppy tries jumping up to snap bits off.

Atton just watches, for the moment.

(After all, it's just a tree. He's sure they can handle it.)

Since the fire seems to be scaring the tree, Will tosses his torch high into its head of branches where a few are set on fire acting as a good distraction,

"'rhaps should start runnin'."

"Won't that set the whole forest on fire?" Guppy calls to Will. "Otherwise we could have had Atton burninate it."

"We don't want t'start a forest fire."

"Was the only thing that seemed to work."

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy thinks for a moment, then tries to contain the monster in a force field so that the fire stays on that one tree.

"Huh. Good idea."

"Oh aye. 'rhaps could chase it way with yer torches without lightin' it on fire anymore."

Guppy tries to concentrate - he needs to leave a tiny gap in the force field to allow oxygen through.

"Can anyone access an interface with its hit points?" he asks. "I'm running out of Mana."

Thoughtfully: "Might be quicker for me t'just burninate it, now that the forest is forcefield-protected."

"Aye, probably the quickest thing."

"Can you get it inside the forcefield?"
