When Atton opens his eyes, he hasn't got his sword, and he's wearing a wide-brimmed hat, a billowing coat, and a whole lot of black.

Thoughtfully: "Huh."

They're in a garden of some sort, filled with statues, fountains, and plants, with a forest and a massive city in the distance. A lot of people are milling around, all in dress from a variety of different time periods.

Atton thinks about this, a moment.

"Huh."

"Arthritis is lots of fun," Atton says, gravely.

"Dinna 'ave a clue what that is."

"Not yet!" Guppy says. "Nearly thirty isn't old."

Will just grins,

Guppy flips the bird at Atton.

"You're older than me anyway. I'm just more mature."

"I am very mature."

As they pass the other group of players, Atton waves at them.

"Lol haxx," one says, before continuing on.

Atton looks sad.
"People keep saying that."

"Doesna make any sense an they sound like they're drunk."

[guppy_sandhu]

"I think they're speaking in text." Guppy says. "It's a sort of regional dialect."

He calls after them. "Lulz we r cool, don't go dissin us innit."

The players consider this.

"Lolosaur," one of them says, helpfully.

Will just keeps looking at them with confusion.

Guppy makes a 'wicked' sign at the other players.

They continue onwards, and Atton keeps walking.

It isn't long until trees start cropping up around them, sparsely at first, then suddenly in huge amounts as they enter the forest. It's the sort of forest that would be much more at place in somewhere temperate and chilly, rather than a desert, which is possibly why the temperature drops as soon as they're in there.

"Ah, that's better."

"Oh aye, feels more like 'ome."

"Yeah, digital sweating is unpleasant."

"Foresty," Atton says happily, before glancing back out at the desert.

Off in the distance, there are flashes of green and pink and blue.

"That's new."

"Aye, probably na a good sign either."

"Northern lights?

"Somethin' natural, I think but that doesna look right."
