When Atton opens his eyes, he hasn't got his sword, and he's wearing a wide-brimmed hat, a billowing coat, and a whole lot of black.

Thoughtfully: "Huh."

They're in a garden of some sort, filled with statues, fountains, and plants, with a forest and a massive city in the distance. A lot of people are milling around, all in dress from a variety of different time periods.

Atton thinks about this, a moment.

"Huh."

"I wasn't!" Guppy protests. "I thought it was a thingy."

"Flyin' thingy."

"And there was something there. It just happened to be a butterfly."

Guppy pouts.

"Need to concentrate on what's relevent." Guppy says, tutting at himself.

"Let's keep going."

"Oh aye."

Will checks the map once more and then starts walking again.

Guppy tries to keep his bizarre senses to himself.

A few other players run past as they walk. One pauses to give them a thumbs up.

A couple of minutes after that, another player approaches, peering at Guppy.

"Hey you wanna cyber?" Beat. As an afterthought: "Lols."

Will asks, "What's that?"

"I'm going to say no, as a married man, heterosexual, or N00b, whichever satisfies the explanation." Guppy says, arching an eyebrow at the newcomer.

The player considers this, for a while.

Then, they start swaying their hips, with a very hopeful expression.

(Nearby, Atton just facepalms and continues walking.)

"Come on, that looks like it 'urts."

The woman's hips are just kind of odd and oddly balanced.

Guppy prods his virtual button, and selects the 'Fuck off' expression.

The player looks sad, but heads off.

"I'm guessin' that I really dinna know what she was askin' for, aye?"

"I don't want to know what she or he wanted." Guppy says. "They weren't getting it."

"Hurry up, you two," Atton calls back at them.

"Oh aye." Will starts walking faster to catch up with Atton.

Guppy catches them up.

"Are the other players from the same world as we've been on?"
