When Atton opens his eyes, he hasn't got his sword, and he's wearing a wide-brimmed hat, a billowing coat, and a whole lot of black.

Thoughtfully: "Huh."

They're in a garden of some sort, filled with statues, fountains, and plants, with a forest and a massive city in the distance. A lot of people are milling around, all in dress from a variety of different time periods.

Atton thinks about this, a moment.

"Huh."

"Aye, will be water there an na as 'ot, least naught seems too far 'way. Guess folks who play this are lazy."

Guppy thinks, slightly guiltily, of the very similar game he has back home.

"They are a bit time consuming." he admits. "But I don't get much chance to truly switch off, and it's something Frogs and I do together at times. Sort of across the room."

He shrugs. "We got bored of scrabble."

Atton just snorts.

"You should be an expert on this stuff, then."

"Oh aye, 'member any tricks?"

"Not really, Frogs always beats me hand down unless we're working teams. She has some sort of special splat power."

Atton just arches an eyebrow.

Ahead, some of the sands shift a little. Atton turns towards them, watching them suspiciously.

Will stops and follows what Atton's looking at,

"Should it do that?"

Guppy says nothing, but slips into a defensive stance.

Pause.

Thoughtfully: "I don't think so."

The best thing he can do is draw his sword and hope whatever this thing is easily defeated.

"Force field." Guppy says, selecting it from his menu and casting it just in front of them.

Suddenly, three long, fleshy shapes, like giant worms, burst from the sand, front ends opening to reveal rows of sharp teeth.

"Oh, nice," Atton says, grinning.

Will moves off to the left while still staying behind the force field,

"'ad to fight somethin' I guess."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Hm, how do I ninja them?" Guppy wonders aloud, moving forward with a large leap over one of them. He grabs its tail, and swings it around and around into a few of the others.

Atton prods the air, bringing up the spell menu and selecting blizzard.

A few moments later, a wave of sparkly mist washes over one of the worms, freezing its head.

Soon his sword moves and a worm doesn't have a head.

Guppy can't quite work out how to kill the worms, so just continues hitting them against one another.

Atton snaps his fingers, shattering the frozen head of one of the worms.

The headless bodies of two of the worms keep wriggling, but since they don't have heads any more, Atton isn't too concerned about them.

Will sees Guppy's confusion and says,

"Cut its 'ead off."

[guppy_sandhu]

"I can't, I've got nothing to do it with." Guppy says. "No, wait, I can use my nunchucks."

He gets them off his belt and whirls them wildly, managing to first stun the worm and then, rather carelessly, accidentally hit himself in the crotch.

Apprently a common rookie nunchuck mistake. It certainly makes him go a bit red.

Dryly: "Impressive."

Will swipes the worm's head off and then comes over to pat Guppy,

"Ye should 'eal yerself."

[guppy_sandhu]

"It's okay." Guppy says, in a slightly higher pitched voice. "They're still there."

He does cast a quick healing spell down his trousers nonetheless, then clears his throat and adds in a much lower pitch.

"Yes, a few teething problems to be expected."

Atton snorts.

"C'mon, let's keep walking."

"Aye, wonder what else they'll throw at us."

He decides to keep his sword out for now just in case.
