When Atton opens his eyes, he hasn't got his sword, and he's wearing a wide-brimmed hat, a billowing coat, and a whole lot of black.

Thoughtfully: "Huh."

They're in a garden of some sort, filled with statues, fountains, and plants, with a forest and a massive city in the distance. A lot of people are milling around, all in dress from a variety of different time periods.

Atton thinks about this, a moment.

"Huh."

The elf responds by spitting at Guppy, then wandering away.

"Big city," Atton remarks, looking at the city in the distance.

"Oh aye, 'opefully can find what we're lookin' for there."

Guppy looks like he's about to go after the elf, but makes do with making rude gestures at his back with his nunchucks.

"Have we got a map feature?" he asks, wiping his face.

"Don't think so. Guess we just walk in its general direction and hope the gate is big and obvious."

"Probably is since seems to be true o'most things 'ere."

Guppy puts his nunchucks away.

"Okay, let's go."

"Better hurry!" The elf yells from afar. "Soon, the infection will wipe out this entire world!" Beat. "Oh, what a glorious day that will be."

Atton peers at him, bemusedly, before heading for the gate out of the garden.

"Infection, guess that kind o'figures."

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy pokes upwards, selects Heal, and directs it at the ground.

Nothing happens.

He shrugs. "Worth a shot. Computer virus maybe?"

"Maybe. Either way, doesn't change that we should probably head to the city."

"Oh aye, 'rhaps its somethin' left be'ind by the info we're trackin'."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Good thought." Guppy says to Will, nodding with approval.

He starts to head towards the city with them.

The gate from the garden opens out onto a completely out-of-place desert, which stretches off into the distance before stopping abruptly at a forest.

Atton wrinkles his nose, slightly. He doesn't like sand.

"This is odd."

"Yeah. The designer had unusual geography preferences."

"Well, at least it's, er, interesting. Sort of."

"Aye, least isna a lot o'desert."

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy nods.

"Even if it is, I'm guessing Recharge is some sort of energy restoring spell."

"That'll be useful," Atton says, brightly. He adjust his hat slightly, peering up at the sun. "S'too hot."

Black, after all, absorbs heat. Atton is wearing all black. In a desert.

He hates his character avatar, he's decided.

Will at least is in green but he still stands out a lot,

"Aye, tis, least city will 'ave some taverns."

Guppy casts a force field above Atton, partially experimentally, partially to see if it shields him from the heat.

Atton peers up.

"I was thinking of just gratuitously using Blizzard, but I guess that works too."

"Could see if it works in 'ere."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Might as well test them while we can." Guppy says. "Our Mana will have time to recharge. And if Blizzard turns out to be an offensive spell, I can heal."

"I think it's meant to be offensive," Atton says. "Should probably cast it far away."

Beat. "Er. Let's see," Atton taps his middle finger in the air, bringing up the spell menu, and selects 'Blizzard.'

There's a brief, frosty glow around his hand, before he waves it in a vaguely upwards direction. There's a whirl of ice up above them, before it starts to fall down at them in swirling currents of snow.

"That's nice," Atton says, mildly.
