It's very dark.
Not completely dark. There are a few lights, sickly greenish-white, left, to give a little bit of illumination, and they light up the flow of water in the most interesting ways. It's a circular room, clearly deep underground, with a massive hole in the centre through which water crashes down. The railings are broken in several places. There are two doors there, and around each, an array of monitors, screens and machinery, all brand new.
Guppy and Will have been laid out on two blankets, on either side of the pit, and left there, at least until they wake up.

Date: 2009-03-16 10:50 pm (UTC)"I feel like I did the morning after rum." he says, shivering but hanging in there. "But I'm in control."
I saw a future, hopefully my future, and Fry was in his teens. We're going to get through this, we've got to.
"I've got some string, if we tie it to the door handle we can pull it open from a bit further away."

"Do you think a pepperami will do?"

Date: 2009-03-16 11:36 pm (UTC)Will heads over to the railings and rips a few off as he starts to tie the pepperami so it dangles over the edge.

Date: 2009-03-16 11:41 pm (UTC)"Come on, we have to rescue Atton quickly." he says, getting the string to tie to the right door handle.

Date: 2009-03-16 11:42 pm (UTC)Will moves so that he can react to whatever comes out of the door first because he's a bit quicker.

Date: 2009-03-17 09:35 pm (UTC)With a screech, Will uses the rail to scratch on the wall,
"These will work an understand na losin' each other but tis bloody 'ard to fight when ye're 'oldin' someone's 'and. If ye're 'fraid o'losin' me, take 'old o'me arm."

Date: 2009-03-17 09:37 pm (UTC)Which is probably not too much of a good thing, considering there are several gangling, greyish-yellow things with big teeth skittering down the stairs towards them.
no subject
Date: 2009-03-17 09:49 pm (UTC)He doesn't try to tackle them actually on the stairs; instead he waits for them to get to the bottom and makes a ferocious noise like a lion roaring at them. He then charges, leaps and stabs the first one through the back with his railing as he comes down.
"You're scheduled for surgery." he snarls at the scary thing.
