It's very dark.

Not completely dark. There are a few lights, sickly greenish-white, left, to give a little bit of illumination, and they light up the flow of water in the most interesting ways. It's a circular room, clearly deep underground, with a massive hole in the centre through which water crashes down. The railings are broken in several places. There are two doors there, and around each, an array of monitors, screens and machinery, all brand new.

Guppy and Will have been laid out on two blankets, on either side of the pit, and left there, at least until they wake up.

Atton groans.

"Will, punch Guppy," he mumbles, dazedly. Behind them, there's a flare of light from the passage as the lights blow out and the field fades.

"'m sorry." Guppy says, lying down on his back to avoid the feelings of nausea and faintness.

"I thought Will might dive in and fall and I wouldn't be able to get both of you out and Will is stronger than me so if I'd gone down he might have been able to..." he says, his eyes filling with tears that he tries to blink back.

He rolls back onto his front, crawls a few feet away from them, and throws up.

"Just drink some water, both o'ye, we're alive an tis what counts."

Atton sits up, shaking himself off and peering over at Guppy.

"At least we're armed, now."

Guppy concentrates on breathing, crawls back a bit and curls up in a ball, trying to recover as quickly as possible.

Will unties the rope and lays his jacket over Guppy,

"Shh, we'll get 'ome."

Gently: "We shouldn't stick around here too long."

Guppy uncurls, wiping the sweat and tears off his face.

"Sorry. Are you okay?" he asks Atton, rummaging through his bag for some water.

A bottle is placed into his hand by Will,

"Aye, 'opefully willna 'ave too much more to go through."

"I'm fine. Don't know how much further to go we have. Obviously never been in this part of Taris before," Atton says.

Guppy sips the water, and stumbles to his feet.

Will tries to help Guppy stand,

"Lean on me an we'll get out o''ere."

"The pain'll pass, after a few minutes, don't worry."

"'m'okay." Guppy says, leaning on Will a bit. "We have to get home."

"Aye, 'and me sword an blaster, an we'll get movin'."

Atton tosses Will's weapons his way.

"C'mon. I think there's another stairway near here."

Guppy puts the sword and guns back on. His body's beginning to feel a bit better but he's still shivering a bit.

"Look out for traps."

"Oh aye, must be one."

It doesn't take long for Will to be set and then looks around, he always feels better with the weight of his knife and sword at his belt.

"Probably. C'mon," Atton says, heading up the stairs.

Guppy follows, eyes glancing nervously around for the next thing to try and kill them.

Will's also on edge but at this point, he just wants to be out of here without anymore injuries.

Atton stops, pausing to listen.

"Do you hear something?"

It's faint, at first. Just a trickle. Then it grows louder, into a roar of water, and up the stairs nearby that they came up before, water starts to rise.

"Kriff, he's flooding the place!" Atton says, starting to sprint up the stairs.

Guppy runs quickly after him. He can't swim in clothes; if he can't get out of there, he'll drown.

"Bloody 'ell!"

That sets Will running too.

At the top of the stairs, there's a door, thick and metal. It doesn't budge when Atton charges into it.

Atton pauses, taking a step back, then charges it again. This time it swings open, revealing a ladder, and a trap door above.

"Okay. Guppy, you first. Be quick about it."
