They made planetfall a couple of hours ago.

So far, things have mostly just been messing around. They landed in a forest clearing, a little way from a deep but gently flowing river and a waterfall.

Which is where Atton is now. There's a pile of his clothes on a rock by the river, but he's nowhere to be seen, most of the time. Occasionally, he bobs up from under the water, peers around, and goes back down again.

Atton plucks an explosive from his coat, pulling the pin and tossing it up the hill, wincing for a moment as he worries that it might just roll down towards them. It doesn't. It explodes amongst the laigreks, and he continues running

A piece of flying laigrek exoskeleton hits Guppy in the back of the head, startling him enough to make him look around aaand there goes the tripping over.

He doesn't fall on his face, but manages a pretty inelegant roll before scrambling to his feet and continuing to run.

So Will tries to haul Guppy up while still firing off blasts.

They reach the bottom of the hill (a lot more quickly than they got up it, Atton notes), and Atton starts picking his way through the forest, towards the ship.

Guppy, cursing himself for letting them get held up because of him, tries to speed up his pace.

Will keeps his arm on Guppy, helping to keep him moving.

Atton heads to the ship, opening the door.

"Get on, both of you, quickly."

Guppy doesn't hesitate, and scrambles aboard.

"Atton, do we know for certain that there's no tracking device on our ship?" he asks, hurrying to get strapped in.

That sounds like a wonderful idea so Will gets strapped in as quickly as he can.

"Guppy, I've been being chased by bounty hunters for the past four or five years. I know how t'do a thorough check for tracking devices. Trust me, we're clean," Atton says, heading to the cockpit.

Another rocket comes their way as they start to lift off, making the ship shudder.

Guppy nods, feeling a bit silly; of course Atton would know about that.

He flinches when the rocket hits, but is glad to be getting off the ground. He digs in his bag for his motion sickness medication, partially as a distraction from the near death situation.

"Oh aye, an once we're off, will be goin' faster than 'em."

Atton flicks a few switches, and the Dragonfly lifts off, tilting slightly as it heads away from the planet, leaving the bounty hunter below, staring after them.
