They made planetfall a couple of hours ago.

So far, things have mostly just been messing around. They landed in a forest clearing, a little way from a deep but gently flowing river and a waterfall.

Which is where Atton is now. There's a pile of his clothes on a rock by the river, but he's nowhere to be seen, most of the time. Occasionally, he bobs up from under the water, peers around, and goes back down again.

Guppy sits nearby, watching out for danger or wild animals.

Will's toasting stuff over a fire, this feels almost like fun.

Atton likes the river. It means he can be very stealthy.

To demonstrate, he emerges near Guppy, splashes him with water, and dives back down again, eventually emerging again closer to Will.

Guppy jumps, having thought for a moment it was a crocodile. He's understandably a little on edge after all they've been through.

"Atton! I'm running out of shirts as it is!"

Which just makes Will laugh and toss a toasted thing at Atton.

Atton catches it in his mouth, swallowing it down quickly.

"It'll dry," he calls to Guppy.

"Yeah, but I thought you were a crocodile. Or being eaten by one." Guppy says, rolling his eyes and going to sit nearer the fire.

"Atton's just bein' 'imself, an naught's tryin' to eat us 'ere."

"I am a lot like a crocodile, though," Atton muses, before diving down again.

Guppy grabs something to toast, and toasts it.

Mmm. Toasty.

"Oh aye, findin' aught down there?"

"'M not looking for anything," Atton protests, popping up again.

"You never know, might be some treasure down there."

Beat.

"Or, you know, a shopping trolley."

"Aye, thought might be shinies down there, the way ye keep divin'."

Pause.

"Nah."

"Just wants to get nice and clean." Guppy guesses.

"Guess 'e does, shame if 'e doesna get any o'these toasted potatoes."

"You are mean, Will," Atton says, heading out of the river. He shakes himself off, then busies himself with getting dressed.

"Do you want a towel?" Guppy offers.

"Am na, shinies are 'mportant."

Atton pauses halfway to reaching for his trousers to consider this.

"A towel'd be good, thanks."

Guppy gets a small but highly absorbant one out of his kit bag and throws it over.

Will just grins as he keeps toasting sausages and other good things.

"Thanks."

Atton dries himself off quickly, before tossing the towel back and getting dressed. By the time he's pulling on his shirt, he's already nosing around the fire for stuff to eat.

"This is nice." Guppy comments, helping himself to a sausage.
