Screaming like a stuck mynock.

"Not long," Atton says.

Then, as Will calms, he lets go and steps away.
"I don't think you injured either of us too badly."

Guppy's nose is bleeding slightly, but clearly not broken or anything. He presses a tissue onto it.

"It's okay." he says again, helping Will up. "Are you all right now? Yours sounded a lot more frightening than mine."

From:

"Thought was bein' chased 'gain with 'ounds."

He sits up slowly, trying to pull himself together.

From:

"The Rakata utilised blends of both the Force and technology. It might be a security system of some sort," Atton says. "Either way, we should just try and pay as little attention as possible to them, and just keep moving."

From:

Guppy checks his nose isn't bleeding enough to make him feel light headed, which it isn't, then tucks the tissue in his pocket and offers Will some water.

"As soon as any of us feel weird, we need to say so." he says. "Then the others can keep them still until it stops."

From:

"Oh aye."

Will takes the water and has a long sip as he gets ready to go again.

From:

Atton makes an agreeable noise as he continues onwards.

Eventually, they reach a slightly larger room, with the remains of tables and chairs scattered around. Atton stops as they enter, cocking his head to listen to something.

Soon, what he's listening to becomes apparent. There are rapid footsteps coming from across the room.

From:

"I can hear footsteps." Guppy says immediately, grabbing onto both of their sleeves.

From:

"Aye, me too."

He reaches for his sword and looks to Atton.

From:

Atton tilts his chin up slightly, peering across the room.

Then, somebody comes into view, apparently melting out of thin air. They're clearly a Jedi - he has robes, for a start. He stops sprinting a little way in front of Atton, Will and Guppy, turning to look out across the room. A couple more figures appear, clustering around the Jedi.

"Master Jedi," their voices are a little echoey, "Where's the ship?"

The Jedi just shakes his head, staring across the room.

"I can see a Jedi surrounded by people." Guppy whispers, getting that sinking feeling in his stomach.

From:

"Oh aye, me too. What do we do?"

From:

Atton remains still, and silent.

It actually seems like he's frozen, rather than just stoic, on this particular occasion.

Then two figures come into view. Dahari and Riv, from Transimir, and behind them, somebody else, tall and longcoat'd. It's Atton, or will be Atton - he has ten fingers instead of nine, and is dressed predominantly in black, and the sheathed sword in one hand has black wrappings instead of grey.

"Dahari, Riv. Deal with the bodyguards." Dahari and Riv wander off to the sides, melting into nothing as they go, as the people surrounding the Jedi charge at vision!Atton.

There's a series of smacking sounds as he swings his still-sheathed sword about, sending them sprawling.

Guppy clings onto Atton's sleeve, in case he starts to dive in there.

"It can't be happening, I can see you in it."

From:

Will takes his other arm,

"Atton, look ye're 'ere, canna fight yerself."

From:

Pause.

Flatly: "It's just the past, we just let it ..." pause, and then with the barest hint of disgust, "... play out."

The Jedi leaps, somersaulting through the air, lightsaber igniting, and vision!Atton slides out of the way, something sharp and shiny emerging from his sleeve, before he throws it. It catches the Jedi on his hand as he lands, and he drops his lightsaber.

The Jedi spits. "Sith, Black Dog, assassin, you have no idea how - ..."

He doesn't get a chance to finish. Vision!Atton draws his sword, makes one slice, wipes off the blade and sheaths it again in one smooth motion. The Jedi teeters for a moment, then falls, blood spreading out around him.

Vision!Atton pauses, then turns to look directly at Atton, Will and Guppy. Atton strains against Will and Guppy, just a little.

Guppy holds Atton tight, not just a grip, but a hug.

"I've got you bro." he says, his voice tight but the words sincere.

From:

As does Will, "Ye're na alone, want ye 'ere, Atton."

From:

Vision!Atton keeps staring at them.

"Captain," Dahari rasps as he comes into view again. "What are you looking at?"

"Nothing," Vision!Atton replies, lightly. "Return to the ship and contact Captain Azkul. Remind him that I will not clear up his messes a second time." Dahari nods, walking away and vanishing.

Vision!Atton stares at Atton, Will and Guppy for a few more moments, before grinning and giving them a mocking, two-fingered salute as he fades away.

Atton relaxes, slightly.

Guppy is more than a little glad that this vision has gone.

He doesn't let go of Atton just yet, just in case.

"Are you back with us?"

From:

"Aye, Atton, wasna ye."

From:

Flatly: "We need to move on."

Not that he's actually moving. He seems rooted in place.

From:
