Docking Bay Three is as large as a small town. Larger, perhaps. It's massively wide and tall, many-tiered, with rows upon rows of landing pads and towers connected by a vast network of interconnecting bridges, that go up as far as the eye can follow.

There are shops here, and cantinas, for those just getting out or preparing to get into their ships, and at least a dozen exits and entrances scattered around the levels.

The escape pod goes gliding through the containment field and crashes down on the lowest level, spinning as it goes. It's lucky it's well-cushioned and padded, really - with no proper way to land, a controlled crash is the best Guppy and Will could've hoped for.

Nevertheless, it eventually comes to a stop, down at the base of several towers. This lowest level doesn't have many people - it's mostly droids hurrying about to do maintenance, with a few ships that look like they've seen better days.

"If they have found him, they're not going to want to hand him over..."

"Aye, na sure what to do 'rhaps if we can get 'im way for just a moment."

"Maybe we could pretend he's infected with Attonrandovirus." Guppy says. "He might pick up the hint and realise we're here to help, and we could tell them to report to the hospital wing for urgent decontaminaton."

"Sounds worth a try, aye."

"Hang on, I've got a couple of surgical masks in my bag, we can put those on when we approach them to look more official."

He gets one out and passes it to Will, then pushes the button for the lift down.

Will puts the mask on and gives another nod as they head down.

When the lift doors open, they open out onto a long, wide corridor that looks more than a little blank. There are doors at regular intervals, but very little else.

Well, there's one thing - a blue-purple computer terminal, just by the lift. There are pictures above it, and while scratched and worn, the images are still recognisable as more or less universal signs for 'look at maps, make calls, call lifts or watch holo-channels here.'

Guppy presses what he hopes is a 'Map' button and tries to have a look at the layout.

Will peers over his shoulder,

"'rhaps should use the card thingy."

A map shows up, consisting of hundreds of corridors forming what can only be described as a labyrinth. There's a red dot to mark where they are.

Next to the map, the 'make call' 'call lift' and 'watch holo' buttons flash, one by one, in bright, primary shades.

"Card thing?" Guppy asks, pressing 'Watch Holo'.

"That the tender gave us, might 'rhaps let us call those folks."

The 'Watch Holo' button just produces an image of a smiling woman, and some Aurebesh text.

"Oh yeah, good point." Guppy prods the watch holo button again, to see if he can make it disappear, then presses 'Make Call'.

Will waits, not really sure what else to do.

A symbol flashes up on the screen, and in a corner of the terminal, a recepticle for a card flickers.

"Oh good." Guppy gets out his own phone, photographs the card in case this goes wrong, then puts it in the thingy.

As they call, Will looks around to make sure they're not getting any suspicious looks.

There's a ringing noise, and then the display on the terminal turns to a very vague, blurry image of a non-descript room, and a figure. They can't be seen clearly, but they're definitely not human.

"We were wondering when you would contact us. We're familiar with you both, from your exploits with Erran Magnus." His voice is suspiciously like a hiss.

Guppy glances at Will urgently, lost for words, with the sudden sinking feeling that this is a trap.

So Will moves in front of the viewer,

"Oh aye, then ye'll be good an be gettin' us Lagos Ren an a ride to the planet lest ye wish for trouble."

"We do not have Lagos Ren. If we did, we wouldn't still be here, especially since the forces against us rack up as we speak. The faction of the Sith in orbit around this planet, the rather pretentiously named Order of the Wyrm, have already forged an alliance with the Exchange.

Vaguely visible headtilt.

"As we speak, they are detaching small dropships to the lower levels, and are currently swarming the upper levels and the maintenance levels, with the intent of finding us, you, and Lagos Ren, and with the full cooperation of those in charge of this station."

"Us? We're barely worth the cost of such a manouvre!" Guppy says, with a poorly acted contemptive snort whilst he hopes Will is thinking of a plan.

[will_scarlett]

"Oh aye, then we'll na bother ye anymore."

Will has the start of an idea but he's not sure if its going to work or not.

"If you choose to use it, we have a safe house prepared for you. If you can reach it, you'll be safe inside for at least a day. Long enough for us to prepare a meeting to discuss a temporary alliance."
