[Prethreading OOM] Kate and Atton, Koor.

Koor is bright, colourful and loud, for the most part, and vibrant with life.

The door leads out into a large city square, lined with stalls, with a group of masked actors in the centre playing out some form of very overdramatic musical tragedy.

Atton turns to Kate. "So. Stuff t'buy, stuff t'eat, fortune-telling, fights for money, dancing, street theatre, and as I find more stuff in the city this list keeps on growing and growing so I won't bore you with the rest." Brightly. "Any ideas on what y'want t'do?"

She just folded her arms in front of her, and looked back squarely at him. Didn't look like she was backing down.

"S'better than thieving. You'd be steering me away from a life of crime!"

She stared back at him, "Yeah? Not seeing the downside here."

"Naw, y'see, if you gave me your winnings to keep you'd be sterring me away from crime, see? If I have to donate it t'people, then I have t'steal t'get money for myself."

"I said you can keep some of it, and then donate the rest. What's wrong with that?"

"No, I'll pay you back more when we return to the bar. Be easy to convert my money over there, and I owe you for the trip anyway. C'mon, you know there's some good people who could use that money more than you."

"I'm a ..." He trails off before he can actually say 'good person' and just looks mildly sulky. "I'll see about giving it to a charity."
