[Prethreading OOM] Kate and Atton, Koor.
Koor is bright, colourful and loud, for the most part, and vibrant with life.
The door leads out into a large city square, lined with stalls, with a group of masked actors in the centre playing out some form of very overdramatic musical tragedy.
Atton turns to Kate. "So. Stuff t'buy, stuff t'eat, fortune-telling, fights for money, dancing, street theatre, and as I find more stuff in the city this list keeps on growing and growing so I won't bore you with the rest." Brightly. "Any ideas on what y'want t'do?"

The archery contest seems rather informal. Mostly just people putting their names down, getting bows and arrows, and waiting for the current group of archers to finish up and leave before heading up.

She then walked back over, and whispered to Atton, "I need a translation please? I can't read it."

"Now just grab a weapon and get ready, right?"

Atton, off in the crowd, finds a high spot to watch.

She then let go, and watched it fly right to the center where it thudded home.

The rest of the archers on the line start to take aim again.

"One last time!" Somebody calls. The various archers start to take aim again.

There was a nod and a smile, hoping that was enough for the Koori to understand her as she accepted the bag from him.
She then jogged back over to Atton.
"Thanks, this should pay back what you gave me, and enough to donate to whoever needs it."
