Bob was down below, at a landing platform, looking left and right and clutching something wrapped in black cloth to his chest. Atton could see Roza, nearby, still wearing his form, a dozen black-armoured soldiers and two masked, robed clerics. They hadn’t realised he was already there, but they knew he was coming for them - The explosion had been impossible to miss.

But they hadn’t looked in the small hollow in a building nearby - Far away that they looked tiny, to Atton, but close enough that he could see them. And even if they had. Atton blended into the shadows well.

Atton didn’t care about the soldiers, or the clerics. He would either avoid them, kill them all, or die, and he was fine with all of those, as long as Bob died. Roza, too, preferably, but mostly Bob.

He flipped up the targeting sight on the large gun, flicked the power shot button and took aim at Bob’s back.

The recoil, even with the device Atton had installed to lessen it working well, shoved Atton against the wall as four streams of energy from each fused together rifle merged into one, lighting the hollow and the entire landing bay up in shades of bright red, pink and orange.

Bob blurred to one side at the last moment. It didn’t matter, too much - The stream hit a moving soldier in the chest, blasting him apart, armour and all, sending him flying. The shockwave spread outwards, sending Bob hurtling off the edge of the landing platform, grabbing it to keep himself from falling.

The landing platform was only small - The soldiers flew backwards, armour cracking under the force, flying off the end. Roza was flung far, limbs mangled, becoming blue and gelatinous and reshaping into a leathery, flying lizard, soaring up and around and landing on the platform, once again shifting, leathery skin becoming softer, wings becoming long arms, tufts of hair appearing.

Atton ducked further back into the shadows as two cold, clear grey eyes peered at the hollow.

“My lord,” Atton wrinkled his nose slightly as Roza spoke. His voice, calling Bob ‘lord.’ “Are you alright?”

“I managed to shield myself from the brunt of the blast, thank you, Roza.” Bob frowned. “Where is he?”

Roza paused.
“I’m not entirely sure, my lord. It happened ... very quickly.

“I noticed,” Bob replied dryly, adjusting his glasses, eyes flashing from watery blue to amber, for a moment, as he wandered over to where the object he was carrying had fallen. “Find him.”

Atton peered at the gun, watching as the meter on it went from red, down to amber, and eventually into green. As Roza started muttering into a communications unit, he took aim again, opening fire - Not a stream of energy, this time, but a volley of rapid bolts, creating shockwaves where they landed.

Bob didn’t bother with his lightsaber, he leapt away, trying to avoid as many shockwaves as possible. It wasn’t long until one caught him, and he was sent flying. Roza’s head snapped towards Atton, as he flew upwards, into a flying lizard again.

Atton jumped down onto the landing platform, pausing his fire for a moment to let the metre go down to green again, turning as Roza swooped down and slammed into him, lifting him off the ground, digging talons into his shoulders.
