RP with Aeryn Sun.

Atton staggered upstairs, singing something which sounded suspiciously like a drinking song, one arm around Aeryn's shoulders to keep himself standing, the other clutching a bottle of Tarisian Ale. He shouldered open the door to his room, kicking it closed and giggling, slightly insanely.
"This is my room. I apologise for the mess."

"Don't apologise, I don't mind. It was sort of nice, I could take on being a pillow as a permenant job." He grinned at her.

She could never tell if he was mocking her or not and her face remained serious.

"I'm not drunk anymore, there is no excuse for such behaviour."

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 06:51 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yeah? Well, I don't care, I am here for all your pillow needs if you want to rest." Atton sounded deadly serious, but that pretty much meant nothing as far as Atton goes.

She thought back to some Earth insults John had taught her.

"More like a Pillock really." She grinned, still leaning close to him. For some reason it was warmer near him.

"I have no idea what that is," Atton grinned. "But I'll assume it means incredibly fantastic person."

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 06:56 pm (UTC)(link)
"You would" She prodded him in the chest.

"You have the ego of a Nebari."

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 06:57 pm (UTC)(link)
"You do realise I have no idea what any of this stuff is?" Atton laughed. "You might as well be talking Tusken."

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
"Well I have no idea what you are saying most of the time either."

She glared at him for no particular reason.

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
"That's probably for the best."

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 07:00 pm (UTC)(link)
"Why?" She suddenly became suspicious. "It's not dirty is it?" She furrowed her brows.

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 07:02 pm (UTC)(link)
"No, just complete and utter rubbish."

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 07:04 pm (UTC)(link)
"Not to me it isn't." She say quietly. Before looking vaguely surprised at herself.

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 07:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Atton drew his head back slightly, giving her a slightly shocked look and remaining completely silent.

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 07:07 pm (UTC)(link)
"I didn't mean that." She glared.

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 07:10 pm (UTC)(link)
"What I just said. I take it back." She had noticed the shocked look on his face.

She was mean, she reminded herself. A nasty Peacekeeper.

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 07:12 pm (UTC)(link)
"Remember the discussion about being devoured we were having earlier?" Atton asked quietly. "I'm not going to devour you, so if you could drop the hard soldier act for ten minutes or so and tell me what you meant, I'd appreciate it."

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 07:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Aeryn is slightly taken aback by his bluntness, everything is fun and games with Atton.

She stood up, already on guard. It was hard to ruin a lifetimes training.

"What makes you think it's an act." She located her pulse pistol on the floor and strapped it in.

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 07:19 pm (UTC)(link)
"Nobody is like that. Not even the Sith. And besides, you said yourself, somebody close to you died. Completely hard soldiers don't get close to anybody." Atton raised his eyebrows, standing up as well, the room looking slightly darker and him unnaturally tall as he does so. If Aeryn's very observant, she might feel a flicker of something, nearly stifled.

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 07:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Aeryn is usually very observant, but her temper, blinds her recently.

"Well I lied." She laughed.

"You didn't think I was serious surely?"

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 07:23 pm (UTC)(link)
That irritates Atton, and he can almost feel the walls around his mind flickering because of that irritance. A couple of pieces of furniture begin to shake, then stop as Atton quickly closes the walls again, cursing inwardly.

"Yes, I did, and I still do."

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 07:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Aeryn looked questioningly at the furniture, but put it down to her imagination.

"Well you're wrong."

She almost spat this last bit at him. She didn't want anyone getting close to that part of her life. She wouldn't have even admitted it if she'd been sober.

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
"Does it matter? The point is you're not the you're not the hard, invulnerable person you seem to want to make yourself out to be and I wish that just for a moment you'd drop the act." Atton growled.

[identity profile] just-a-soldier.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 07:33 pm (UTC)(link)
"Well perhaps you should just keep wishing." She was yelling now.

She couldn't help it. She simply couldn't let him believe she was a good or vulnerable person. Every time she met Atton she ended up fighting with him.

[identity profile] stuck-mynock.livejournal.com 2005-07-27 07:37 pm (UTC)(link)
"Well perhaps you should ... should ..." He raised his arms and made a noise of frustration. After a few moments, simply because he could think of nothing else to do, he gritted his teeth for a moment and pressed his lips against hers. Not the most effective way to win an argument, it has to be said.
