[OOM] Tython.
Jun. 3rd, 2009 09:28 pmThey made planetfall a couple of hours ago.
So far, things have mostly just been messing around. They landed in a forest clearing, a little way from a deep but gently flowing river and a waterfall.
Which is where Atton is now. There's a pile of his clothes on a rock by the river, but he's nowhere to be seen, most of the time. Occasionally, he bobs up from under the water, peers around, and goes back down again.

[OOM] Taris.
Jun. 3rd, 2009 09:29 pmAs they cruise by in orbit of Taris, Atton stands in the central chamber of the Dragonfly, peering at the large holographic display, showing the planet, as well as several still pictures of people.
"Taris used to be a big, shiny city. It was bombed by the Sith, under Darth Malak's orders, years ago. It's just ruins, now, for the most part.
"The district of Taris we'll be landing in is currently run by Baron Kenta," Atton says to Will and Guppy. "He likes to play games. From the tame stuff, like pazaak, to gladiatorial combat with slaves, to his pride and joy, something he calls the Labyrinth."

It's very dark.
Not completely dark. There are a few lights, sickly greenish-white, left, to give a little bit of illumination, and they light up the flow of water in the most interesting ways. It's a circular room, clearly deep underground, with a massive hole in the centre through which water crashes down. The railings are broken in several places. There are two doors there, and around each, an array of monitors, screens and machinery, all brand new.
Guppy and Will have been laid out on two blankets, on either side of the pit, and left there, at least until they wake up.

[OOM] Taris, the Labyrinth, the Undercity.
Jun. 3rd, 2009 09:31 pmAt first, it might seem like they're outside, on a very murky night. There's grass, after all, even if it is marred by patches of metal.
They're not, though. A longer look reveals that they're inside a vast, underground room, or a huge cavern, large enough to give the impression of being outside, but with the metal and stone ceiling just in view, distantly. There are flickering lights, here and there, but for the most part it's fairly dark.
There's what looks like a town nearby, but to get there requires traversing a rather difficult looking stretch of slopes, high rocks, half-built walls and rushing rivers.

[OOM] Taris, the Labyrinth, surface.
Jun. 3rd, 2009 09:33 pmIt's night when they emerge from the lift, with clear skies littered with stars, the majority of which are blocked out.
Up above them, casting a shadow over them, is the vast, distinctive shape of the Wyrm, engines trailingthrough its mass of tentacles, lights gleaming, sharp, spiney legs moving back and forth through the air.
Atton peers at the shape, thoughtfully.
"Well. Kriff."

[OOM] The Dragonfly, Taris System.
Jun. 3rd, 2009 09:33 pmIt's been twelve hours.
The Wyrm has been hovering around the system, occasionally passing dangerously close to the spot on Taris' moon that they're hiding on. Each time it's passed on again.
Atton's fever has dropped a bit, but he still hasn't properly woken up, except for brief moments, and he's still rather overly warm.

[OOM] The Dragonfly, Taris System.
Jun. 3rd, 2009 09:35 pmAtton's sleeping when the first missile hits Taris' moon.
It's far away, just off in the distance, but the force of it makes the ship shake anyway, waking Atton up.
"Took them long enough," he mumbles, getting out of bed. It's been another twelve hours, so he'd like to think the toxin is mostly gone by now.
