Back in the bedroom, Guppy stays where he is, keeping his head on his knees in the darkness and trying to block out the flashbacks of explosions and people trying to kill them.

He assumes Will will come and get him if Atton collapses, so he tries to focus on pushing back his emotions. He feels for his pulse and checks it once a minute until it's back in normal range.
