[OOM] Taris, the Labyrinth, surface.

It's night when they emerge from the lift, with clear skies littered with stars, the majority of which are blocked out.

Up above them, casting a shadow over them, is the vast, distinctive shape of the Wyrm, engines trailingthrough its mass of tentacles, lights gleaming, sharp, spiney legs moving back and forth through the air.

Atton peers at the shape, thoughtfully.

"Well. Kriff."

At the sound of Guppy's whimper, Will turns and is slashed in the side before taking down the soldier attacking him.

Up on the building, the blurs slow to a stop, as one of Koren's arms, sword still in hand, goes flying through the air to skitter across the street.

Koren snarls, slightly, rubbing his arm. There are tubes there, and beneath the tubing, muscle and no skin.

"You're like the footsoldiers," Atton says, slowly. "Just smarter, aren't you? I thought that as their leader, you'd be different. But you're exactly the same as them."

Masters, and apprentices.

Atton's eyebrows go up, as he abruptly realises something.
"You're not their leader, are you? You're the apprentice, not the master."

Koren just snarls again, charging up bolts of lightning around his remaining hand. A moment later, Atton's sword slides through his stomach, then quickly back out again with a splatter of blue over Atton. Atton swings one arm, knocking him off and down to the street.

Guppy polishes off the last zombie currently attacking him and rushes to check that Will is okay from being slashed.

As the arm flies off, Will looks up after taking down the nearest soldier,

"Atton, ye well?"

"Just great," Atton says, hopping down and wandering over to them. "That went pretty well, I think."

"I think I might have a repetitive strain injury."

"Na sure what that means an I've only a bit o'a scratch. Now let's leave this damn planet."

"Yeah. Let's head off."

Atton has just sheathed his sword when Koren moves, suddenly, from his spot sprawled out in the street, blurring towards Atton to set his remaining hand to his back.

There's a flash of purplish light, and the colour drains from Atton's face.

Guppy does the only thing he can think of.

He punches Koren hard in the face.

Will moves to try and catch Atton and slashes at Koren,

Atton sags against Will, flopping against him slightly.

Nearby, a ship lands in the street, the ramp lowering slowly. Koren turns, sweeping into it and vanishing from view as the ramp is raised up again and the ship lifts off, soaring away.

"'M fine," Atton mumbles, regaining his footing. "'M fine."

"Sit down." Guppy says gently, shaking his hand out and moving quickly to support Atton. "You've gone a funny colour. What did he do?"

Will's doing his best to hold Atton as much as he can,

"Atton, dinna go anywhere on us."

"We don't have time t'sit down, we need t'get back t'the ship. S'some kind of Force-y toxin thing. I'll be alright, c'mon."

"A forcey-toxin thing?" Guppy asks, keeping one hand on Atton as they keep moving. "How do we fix it?

"Aye, just to the ship, isna far."

"S'forcey," Atton says, solemnly. "Don't know what t'do about it."

That doesn't reassure Guppy a whole lot.

"Well then all we can do is treat the symptoms."

"Oh aye, we'll figure it out. Can ye walk?"

"More or less," Atton says, vaguely. He can tell that he's starting to get a fever.

Guppy, anxious to get Atton lying down as soon as possible, tries to help him along.

"If it's a toxin, we need to get you stopped moving around as quickly as possible. Also you're the only one who can fly the ship."

"'rhaps if its somethin' pretty common, willna be 'ard to treat. Where's the ship?"

"Ah," Atton peers around, trying to figure out where they are. He blinks a few times, before nodding. "Thataway."

Guppy hurries and helps Atton along, hoping they won't have to carry him.

Will tries to be aware of where they're headed but also allowing Atton to lean on him if he needs to.
