So, Atton's no longer feeling disorientated. He's starting to walk better.

New problems have arisen, though. Atton has been alternating between feeling freezing and feeling like he's burning up. It started rather abruptly, and it isn't very pleasant.

Right now, he's freezing. Thus, he's wandering around his room, shirtless and barefoot but with a thick blanket draped over his shoulders, shivering.

"Sure. Do you need help escpaing?"

"I have a long line of people who are insisting on coming with me. I have no idea whether I need help or not - Probably depends on whether I'm repowered by the time I go back."

"I could look at them for you. It wouldn't be messy."

"But I like messy."

"Yes, so do I. But sometimes we have to make sacrifices."

Atton looks forlorn. "But I don't wanna make sacrifices."

"Just some of them? I like turning people to stone sometimes. And then other times..." She looks down at her fingers, and flexes the tendons so her claws slide out.

"It could be a multi-faceted attack. They'd never guess what was going on."

"Multi-faceted attacks are good. But, but turning them all to stone would be bad. I would have to cry. You don't want me to cry, do you?"

She stares at him. She gazes at him with her large, heavy-lidded dark eyes wide and soulful.

Her bottom lip may be pouting.

"Please, Atton?"

Oh, come on. Atton knows that's not fair - That's exactly what he does to make people agree with him!

"No! It's not gory enough!"

"I can do gory, too. Really, I can. Just the people who are far away with the missile weapons whom we can't reach..."

"The people with the missile weapons need to be exploded. Everybody loves explosion," Atton explains patiently. "There's a proper way t'do this. It's good manners to blow them up."

Medusa seems to brighten at that.

"Oh, well. That's okay, then. I like explosions."

"Everybody likes explosions." Atton says wisely.

"I'm...agreeing with everyone?"

"You are."

Medusa stares at him in utter horror.

"I know, I know. I was horrified at first too."

"But, but...Atton!"

"It's okay! They're usually less fond of getting blown up."

She thinks about this.

"Could...could I just turn a couple of them into statues? Just...one or three?"

"Maybe one. But then you have to blow up the statue!"

"Well, duh!"

Atton just sticks his tongue out.
