(no subject)

So, Atton's no longer feeling disorientated. He's starting to walk better.

New problems have arisen, though. Atton has been alternating between feeling freezing and feeling like he's burning up. It started rather abruptly, and it isn't very pleasant.

Right now, he's freezing. Thus, he's wandering around his room, shirtless and barefoot but with a thick blanket draped over his shoulders, shivering.

"You have a filthy mind. I meant innocent toys. Things that don't vibrate."

"Well, you should've said," Sam points out, fairly. "It's an easy mistake to make."

"Only for you, Sammy."

"I know, I know, I'm special."

"Very much so."

"Aw. You're so sweet, Atton."

Sam snuggles up beside him.

"So, what do you want to play?"

"Something that doesn't involve too much moving. You're warm." Snuggle closer. Atton's more or less tangled up in Sam, by now.

Sam slides his arms around Atton, dislodging a small, brightly-coloured brick as he does so.

"...Hey, you've got Lego!"

"Yep. 'S an Earth thing!" Atton grins.

"I know. Want to build things and then make them explode?"

"This does sound like an intriguing idea."

"Whole point of Lego, isn't it?" Sam asks cheerfully. "Where's the rest of it?"

"Er. 'S around here somewhere."

Sam snickers. "Messy brat."

"You're messier."

[necessary_child]

"You're a liar and a thief."

"You're a liar and a thief!"

"You're a worse liar and a bad thief!"

"Hey!" Atton looks offended. "I'm a very good liar and a very good thief! Better than you." Sulkily.

"Uhhh-huh."

Sam resists the urge to make a comment along the lines of 'You got caught, didn't you?'.

Sam also sticks his tongue out.

"What, you don't believe me?"

"I never believe you," Sam teases. "'Cause you're a liar and a thief, see."

"That's not a real answer." Atton protests, before slumping against Sam, letting the subject go. "The lego should be around here somewhere. Check under the bed."

"Just teasing, Atton." Sam slings an arm around Atton's shoulders again.

He concentrates, and pieces of Lego start flying into their laps.
