So, Atton's no longer feeling disorientated. He's starting to walk better.

New problems have arisen, though. Atton has been alternating between feeling freezing and feeling like he's burning up. It started rather abruptly, and it isn't very pleasant.

Right now, he's freezing. Thus, he's wandering around his room, shirtless and barefoot but with a thick blanket draped over his shoulders, shivering.

Will opens the door slowly and blinks at Atton with the blanket pulled around him,

"Wish me to get Guppy?"

"Nah, I'm fine. Don't worry." Atton gives Will a grin. "Just cold."

"Oh aye, um, wished to 'pologize for leavin' yestereve should 'ave stayed, wasna right o'me."

The door gets pulled closed and a bottle of beer is offered.

"Will, y'don't have t'apologise, I know you were only there 'cause you felt you had t'be." Atton says, tiredly.

"Ye're my friend, came to visit an 'elp ye pass the time since I 'ated bein' stuck when I was 'ealin'."

"Whatever you say, Red."

"Tis the truth, 'member ye once asked me 'bout bein' brothers, that 'asna changed, still consider ye my brother, just got frustrated last night at seein' both ye an Kate 'urtin' an na knowin' 'ow to fix things."

"Sure, sure." Atton waves a hand dismissively.

Will gives Atton a long look, takes him by the shoulders and says in a much sterner voice,

"Atton Rand, I'm na yer friend out o'pity or any stupid reason ye can think o'. I'm yer friend an brother cause I bloody like ye, canna break yer nose to prove it to ye, so I'll just be stayin' 'ere till ye believe it."

Atton watches him for quite a while.

"... Yeah, I don't believe you."

Another look from Will, the beer is handed over and he takes a seat on the floor,

"So teach me 'ow to play the game thing ye were doin' yesterday."

"Thank you." Atton sits down next to Will, sipping at his beer. "'S difficult to explain, really."

"Could just show me then an I'll pick it up as we go an then ye can 'ave the pleasure o'winnin'. Figured ye'd probably be wantin' some."

"What makes you say that?"

"Cause ye seem to be 'urtin' a lot an just well, I'm worried 'bout ye an na sure the useful thing to bring so thought ye might like a beer is all."

"Will, I have injuries from months of torture, of course I'm hurting. But 's nothing painkillers won't fix."

"Oh aye, guessin' a 'ug would just 'urt then?"

"Yes, but I won't say no to one, anyway."

Carefully, Will hugs Atton trying not to go too tightly on any injuries, but Belle taught him how to hug so he does a decent job.

"Thanks."

"Ye're welcome."

Will ends the hug and flops back down on the floor staring at the holo screen.

"Keep having nightmares." Atton says, absently, passing a controller to Will.

Will takes the controller and just nods,

"Aye, they're always worse then the pain."

Snort. "Not exactly unusual. I usually don't sleep well."

"Ye been able to sleep at all?"
