So, Atton's no longer feeling disorientated. He's starting to walk better.

New problems have arisen, though. Atton has been alternating between feeling freezing and feeling like he's burning up. It started rather abruptly, and it isn't very pleasant.

Right now, he's freezing. Thus, he's wandering around his room, shirtless and barefoot but with a thick blanket draped over his shoulders, shivering.

"Did too!" Nudging him harder.

"'M glad you agree!" Nudging him back.

"Awwww." Pout, as he nudges Atton again. "That always works in cartoons. Not fair."

"I win." Smugly.

"Only because television lied to me," Sam sulks. "I'm shocked and appalled by this, I really am."

"You should complain."

"I should," Sam agrees. "It's terrible, really."

Beat.

"On that subject: want to watch cartoons?"

"Yes! I love cartoons."

"Bet the bar's got a channel with all the old Looney Tunes ones on. They were good, so long as you watched the ones without all the rampant racism and sexism."

"Looney Tunes?"

"...Time you were introduced." Sam says firmly, looking about for the television remote. Finding none, he simply does it via magic... and of course, the channel it switches on at is the channel they want.

"Excellent."

The current cartoon is Road Runner.

"I wish I had popcorn." Absently.

Sam snickers. "That's why they have room service. Want something to drink, while we're at it?"

Beat.

"In a manner of speaking."

"Anything alcoholic is good by me."

"Sounds like a plan." Sam hits the button for roomservice, and when the waitrat appears (almost instantly) orders drinks and popcorn.

"Sweet or salty, Atton?"

Not making the easy (and filthy) joke. (Yet.) Isn't he angelic?

"Salty." Atton says, after a moment's thought.

Sam snickers. "What a surprise."

"I know, you must be shocked." Atton snickers in return.

"Shocked and appalled, Atton, shocked and appalled." He laughs over at him, as the ratty returns with their order.

"So." He passes Atton his drink and sprawls back on the bed. "Wonder how long the popcorn'll last us."

"Not long, I expect."

"Probably not!" Cheerfully.

Sam pops a piece into his mouth before slowly licking his fingers. "Mmmm, salty."

INNOCENT HE TELLS THEE. INNOCENT.

"Bet you wouldn't lick my fingers." Sulkily, as Atton takes a piece of popcorn.

"Gavin would object," Sam says mildly, which distracts from having to give any other answer.

"I should find Gavin. And make him lick my fingers." Beat. "Except that'd take a while and then you'd eat my popcorn."

"I would," he says firmly, smirking. "Can't let it go stale, see."
